Description
Mexican marigold blooms feature prominently in the Day of the Dead, the annual holiday which honor those who have died. Taken from the 2022 Día de Muertos collection, the Nike Women’s Air Max 1 ‘Somos Familia’ showcases the flower, also known as ‘Cempasúchil.' The upper features a canvas base in Lemon Wash, layered with suede and textile in Starfish while the mudguard is decorated by a tonal marigold print. Adding to the vibrancy is a yellow suede Swoosh with exposed stitching along the lateral side. The cream-colored foam midsole and orange-tinged air-sole unit offer lightweight cushioning supported by a translucent glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole.
